Greater Pittston Stoners Youth Soccer

General Information

All children age 5 though 18 are eligible to play. The U means Under, so if your child is 5 they play U6.
The age bracket is based on the child's  birthday, your child must be 5 by August 1st. However if your child's birthday is after August first, and they are stating kindergarten we can make an exception.
If your child's birthday is after August first they will play the age bracket down, for example, if your child turned 8 on August 12th, they would play U8. If their birthday was July 31st they would play U9.
A child can play a age bracket above but never below.

All children age 4 through 18 are eligible to play. The U means Under, so if your child is 5 they play U6.
The age bracket is based on the child's  birth year, your child must be 4 years of age by calendar years end.

US Soccer has implemented new age group standards beginning with the fall 2016-17 soccer season in which all age groups are now determined by the player's birth year. Meaning whatever their age will be at the conclusion of each calendar year, no matter if it is after the season has ended, will determine the age group. i.e. Player is born 12/25/2008 will be in the U9 division for the 2016-17 season because the will turn 8 before years end, hence U(under) 9.
